Abstract
This study was aimed to draw the optical operating condition of electrolysis to generating chloride oxidizing agent using RuO2/Ti. So the generation efficiency of chloride oxidizing agent of the electrolyzed NaCl solution was compared with various NaCl concentration, pH, current density, temperature, reaction time and pole span respectively. Electrolysis was performed in the non-diaphragm cell and electrolyte(NaCl solution) of volume of 200 mL. As a result, The best optical operating condition of the electrolyte of NaCl concentration, temperature, pH, reaction time, current density and pole span was 3 %, 20 ℃, 2 min, 15 A/dm2 and 3 mm respectively. When performed an electrolysis using sea water, efficiency generating chloride oxidizing agent was lower than NaCl solution because sea water contain mineral(magnesium and calcium etc.).
