An Assessment of Physical Properties on Spray-on Polymeric Lining Materials

Abstract
Recently, there are many rehabilitation technologies available for different applications, among which various polymeric linings materials are commonly used for the internal corrosion barrier or structural reinforcement of water mains. Especially it is critical to select the proper material in the renovation because inappropriate material selection is rather shorten the life of the tube and lead to increased maintenance costs. So, this study evaluate various physical properties such as electro impedance spectroscopy(EIS), cathodic disbondment resistance, tensile and flexural strength, hardness, and linear expansion coefficient about five epoxy resin and six polyurea lining materials. In conclusion, Most the performance of polymeric lining materials manufactured domestically is needed to be used extensively. And the mechanical performance of polyurea lining materials is more good compare to epoxy lining materials.
