Abstract
In this study, runoff ratios of commercial area and public park were analyzed based on monitoring data. The imperviousness was 84∼85% for commercial area and 5∼37% for public park, respectively. National Institute of Environmental Research (NIER) guideline suggested weighted runoff ratio which use rainfall weighting factor to runoff ratio of four rainfall groups to assess nonpoint source pollution. The arithmetic mean runoff ratio of commercial area and public park were similar to median value, but the estimated runoff ratio by NIER method was higher than those by arithmetic mean and median. The estimated runoff ratios of commercial area and public park by NIER method, which would be used for unit load determination, were 0.73 and 0.42, respectively. The rainfall amount for design LID facilities size, which ranks 80%, was 19.5mm and corresponding runoff ratio of commercial area and public park were 0.67 and 0.25, respectively. Therefore, runoff ratio investigated in this study would be used for unit load estimation and storage volume design of LID facilities for commercial area and public park.
