Abstract
The runoff analysis of precipitation have been done as a basis of the data of stream and boundary for analyzing urbanized basin. In this study, the Rivertool method selecting quantitative factor was applied for the runoff analysis using GIS without the existing data. The Rivertool method improved the limitation of geographical and geological factor selection by analyzing more correctly on the basis of optimization of the parameter and as well, made a possible the qualitative and quantitative analysis of ground factor according to the variation of landuse state. Compared to rating curve for the runoff model, HEC-HMS model using the parameter computed by the Rivertool method showed relatively improved results. Compared the characteristics of all flood rating curves, the Clark model for peak generation time, peak flow and runoff showed most higher values. Considered basin area on the results of analysis, all the model showed relatively much difference for peak and total runoff before, mid- or after development, which indicates to be established preventive measure for soil washout and water pollution due to the development. The Rivertool method proposed from this study showed good results in analyzing stream runoff by reducing physical uncertainty for runoff factor selection and would be applicable as pretreatment process of the runoff analysis in the future.
