| Abstract |
| In this paper, it was analyzed sewer water quality and discharge by land usage: residential area, business area, industrial area, and residential style: house, apartment, villa. The sample area at Bucheon city was investigated for analysis of sewage characteristics by residential style, and Ansan and Incheon were selected for analysis of sewage characteristics by land useage. As a variation of water quality by land usage, it was represented that big pollutional load is indicated at night time(20:00-02:00). As a variation of water quality by residential style, it was represented almost the same pollutional load at minimum discharge time, but other times villa area is the biggest compared to apartment, house area. During the day, discharge ratio in the business area is bigger rather than other areas, but at night time discharge ratio of the industrial area is bigger. As a variation of pollutional load by land usage, it is similar at each area, and specially the pollutional load is the highest at night time and early morning in a day. Because of the variation of sewage characteristics, existing design guideline has some problems to apply for effective management at sewer system. So, for the effective management, it should be investigated characteristics of sewer occurrence in time or land usage. |
