Abstract
This study was performed for the removal of nitrate-nitrogen(NO₃^--N) of recycling water in aquacultural system by using two phase fluidized bed reactor. The NO₃^--N removal efficiency came out from 42 to 98 percent at the operation conditions of which the hydraulic retention tune had 0.5∼1.0 hours. At this time, the NO₃^--N concentration Which flowed into the two phase fluidized bed reactor was made with 13.6∼23.5 ㎎/ℓ. As COD/NO₃^--N rate of a microorganism`s feed, synthetic wastewater injected into the reactor, was set with between 1.4 and 5.7, we obtained the NO₃^--N removal efficiency of from 18.9 to 99.1 percent by the conclusion of an experiment. The NO₃^--N concentration of the effluent, when COD/NO₃^--N rate was increased to 5.7, was put down as low as suitable condition for rearing fish. We also obtained the results, which it was concluded from the experiment according to the valuble loading rates of NO₃^--N from 0.41 ㎏ NO₃^--N/㎥/day to 2.20 ㎏ NO₃^--N/㎥/day, descrived with the removal efficiency at the range between 97.1% and 98.4%.
