이병헌Byung Hun Lee,이남희Nam Hee Lee
Abstract
This study was carried out to determine the operation conditions of water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassiper) systems for swine wastewater treatment. The organic loading rates were varied according to change hydraulic retention times and influent COD concentrations (540,283,and 130 ㎎/ℓ). The COD removal efficiences at 50-600 ㎏COD/ha/day were 75-88%, the TKN removal efficiences at 50-400 ㎏TKN/ha/day were 30-70% and the efficiences of phosphorus at 0.5-9 ㎏T-P/ha/day were 30-90%, respectively. The hyacinth plant was harvested every two-three weeks to investigate the plants growth rates and specific growth coefficients. The plant growth rates were 280-350 g/㎡/day on a wet weight of plants and specific growth coefficients were 0.08-0.1 day^(-1).
