Abstract
In this study, we investigated the removal rate of TOC for removal characteristic of NOM in two water treatment plants. There were different from source water as Nac-dong river and Nam-Kang Dam. Also investigated a optimum coagulant and the coagulant dosage in three different water by Jar-test. Turbidity and NOM removal rate was high in coagulation and sedimentation process. All process of TOC removal rate is 55 % in two water treatment plant. On the USEPA DBPR standard, water treatment plant of NOM removal rate was that `LL` area TOC target removal rate agreed with A, B water treatment plant, `ML` area TOC removal rate was low as source water TOC concentration was high in A water treatment plant. Coagulation test result in the kinds of coagulant that maximum removal rate was Alum 37.0∼54.5 %, Ferric chloride(Ⅱ) 43.0∼70.7 %. On the comparison of coagulant, Ferric chloride was effective. In coagulants DBPR target removal rate meeted the optimum dosage. As Ferric chloride(Ⅱ) dosage was Alum or PACl of 22∼43%
